After the precautionary closure of the production plants, the Ferretto Group has taken another step to ensure the safety and well-being of its employees: the Vicenza-based company has in fact activated an additional insurance policy covering personnel in the event of an infection linked to Covid-19. In particular, the policy provides for a daily allowance and a recovery allowance following hospitalization and a package of post-hospitalization assistance services, in order to facilitate the recovery period and the consequent financial pressure. "The closure of the production plants, even before the government decree, was a choice based on our sense of responsibility" noted Ferretto Group’s CEO, Riccardo Ferretto, who had already decided to suspend activities in the Vicenza, San Polo d'Enza and Bosnia plants last week, and simultaneously implemented remote work activities based on smart working concepts to ensure office services. "By offering this insurance policy, we wanted to take another concrete step to express our solidarity with our employees, to reinforce our feeling that we are family, to try to reduce the unavoidable fears and anxieties we are all feeling during these difficult times. We also wanted to remain faithful to the values of our company, for which the health and safety of all workers and their families have always come first".
