Ferretto Group has supplied 2 vertical Vertimag EF outdoor storage units positioned on a 5-meter high platform for Bemmex, manufacturer and distributor of bicycles and accessories.

Objectives:
  • To reorganize the management of shipments to meet the new e-commerce sales requirements
  • To optimize the finished product storage space thanks to an increase in productivity
  • To improve the traceability of the goods in stock
  • To ensure protection and cleanliness of the items in stock
Solution:
  • No. 2 outdoor VERTIMAG EF BIS storage systems, each 12 meters high
  • Picking bay at about 4 meters from the ground floor, working at the same level where orders are prepared for shipping.
  • WMS management software directly connected to the company ERP system.
  • Picking and order preparation assisted by a laser pointer which identifies, by means of the relevant barcode, the material to be picked inside the tray
Technical characteristics:
  • In order not to interfere with the loading and unloading of trucks, the 2 Vertimag EF units have been installed on an 5-meter high platform.
